Watch TV Frequently toddler will Troubled Schools Currently

Researchers from the Canadian and United States report that toddlers who watch too much television will likely have lower math grades and get more intimidation from friends of his age.

The report in the Archives of Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine, researchers found that children aged 2 years watch television more than 10 year olds. And toddlers watch television usually accompanied by food and soft drinks more.

"The results of this study support the conclusions of previous studies which stated that children who are too early to know television can disrupt or destroy his attention," said Linda Pagani of the University of Montreal, as quoted from Reuters, Tuesday (04/04/2010).

Pagani and colleagues at Bowling Green University in Kentucky and the University of Michigan say children who spend more time watching television than playing with his friends, probably will lose a valuable opportunity to learn about social skills with peers .

Researchers found that every additional hour weekly television viewing is proportional to the decrease in attention in class as much as 7 percent and a decrease in math skills for 6 percent.

Also every excess hour watching television each week, a toddler has probably 10 percent experienced intimidation, about 13 percent less active, about 5 percent weight increase and 10 percent more on eating foods and soft drinks.
