Be careful with back pain, may be symptoms of the scoliosis disease

Back pain is felt most by most people. Be careful, lest it was not unusual back pain due to fatigue. Try checking your spine, whether straight or curved shape is still a cause of scoliosis.

Quoted from iscoliosis.com, Tuesday (28/07/2009) scoliosis is a disorder characterized by bones that form the spine curved sideways (lateral curvature of the spine).

If viewed from the side, a normal person has a spinal shape like the letter S, and from behind the straight-line from neck to tail bone. But in the scoliosis will appear one or more arches to the side that is not fair on the back.

Scoliosis requires serious treatment, because if it's too late to treat the spine will deteriorate, which could cause danger on the spine, chest, pelvis, heart and lungs.

It is important to do the examination of early scoliosis in adolescents aged 10-16 years, because if detected early, treatment is done only through non-surgical therapy.

The cause of scoliosis is not known with certainty. But, there are three things that caused it, ie idiophatic (no known cause), congenital (caused by congenital) caused the development of abnormal spinal growth, and the last non-structural (the existence of problems with other body parts) such as unequal leg length , muscle cramps or sore muscles. More than 80% cause of scoliosis is idiophatic.

To idiophatic divided into several age, infants under 3 years old, the age of 3-9 years, 10-18 years of age, and above 18 years. Patients aged 10-18 years idiophatic mostly called the Adolescent idiopathic Scoliosis (AIS).

Scoliosis can strike at any time during childhood and adolescence. This is more common in women than men, although not yet known why, and most often occurs in early adolescence.

Scoliosis is usually detected in the slope of 10 degrees or more. However, if the curvature reaches 25-30 degrees should be aware. Because if under 20 degrees may cause health problems is still very small, so it can be cured with therapy, so as not to worsen.
