Description
Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease or GERD is a chronic disease that can lead to esophageal cancer sufferer or gastric cancer.

GERD occurs because of the presence of backflow of stomach contents into the esophagus causing symptoms that interfere until the occurrence of complications. Backflow of stomach acid into the esophagus does not only trigger GERD. More than that, can cause injury to the esophagus and ultimately lead to esophageal cancer.
