In the study researchers gave seven different toys, and found the boys prefer toy car, digger, and the ball as well as ignoring the teddy bear. While the girls chose a teddy bear, toy-cooking dishes or other miniature colorful.

In this study involving 83 children aged 9 months to 3 years and observed during three minutes of play time. Previously, researchers surveyed 300 adults to ask what the toy that came to mind first when dealing with gender. Approximately 90 percent said cars for boys and dolls for girls.
"We are very interested to see if the boys have different preferences about color. We offer pink and blue teddy bears, but these children did not show interest in the teddy bear at all," said Thommessen.
Based on this study found girls aged 27-36 months approximately 50 percent are interested in dolls and boys about 87 percent are interested in cars than the ball. These results increase the perception of choice of sex toys ever conducted on the study in 2001.
