Healthy tips to overcoming hoarseness

Hoarseness can occur when you are experiencing flu or talking too loud. Of course, it could interfere with your activities. If you are working with full interaction, either directly or through the phone, hoarseness could be that thing can hinder your performance.

There's a good idea to try to overcome it. Here are some tips from the Center for Voice at Northwestern University, provided some suggestions for recovery if we get hoarseness:

- Drink plenty of water.
- If you are smoker, stop immediately. Avoid also become passive smokers.
- Avoid shouting or speaking loudly with a long time.
- Do not whisper. It's burdening your throat, almost the same as talking loudly.
- Avoid consumption things that make the body dehidration such as alcohol and caffeine.
- Keep humidity levels at home.
- To keep your throat moist, consumption, such as chewing gum lozenges or gargling with salt water.
- Avoid spicy foods.
