Babies are often seen as having referred to as dandruff or crust on the head (cradle cap). Although this is very common, but can interfere with the appearance of the baby. How do I fix this?

1. Try to shampoo more often by using a gentle shampoo gently rubbing the baby's scalp, then rinse with warm water until they are clean and there is no shampoo remains attached to the head.
2. After being washed with shampoo, gently brush the baby's head or use a towel to remove the crust lightly attached to the head.
3. To remove the head of a hard crust, try using olive oil, almond oil or baby oil to help release the crust of the patch. After a massage with oil left for 15 minutes, then comb gently to remove the crust.
4. Make sure to not leave too much oil in the head, because they can clog pores and make the crust stays and difficult to remove.
5. If the crust does not go away, try to use a special baby shampoo that contains salicylic acid and coal tar.
6. Never ever remove the crust in a way mengelupasnya using nails, because it can cause injury and infection on the scalp.
If the crust in the head was also improved after treatment for several weeks, descale spread to other areas or becomes red, then consult your doctor immediately to prevent spreading.
If the same conditions seen around the ears, eyebrow, armpit or fold of the other, then this condition is called seborrheic dermatitis.
However, if the crust in the head is completely missing, then try to prevent it from coming back. Try not to overdo the giving of baby shampoo, because it can stimulate the oil glands, and rinse shampoo or oil on the head until they are clean so that pores are not closed head.
